I think this is possibly the best of the Thursday Murder Club books to date. I was absolutely hooked from the start, and the development of the characters from their initial conception is huge (in a good way).
It was definitely an exciting and entertaining read - in the cozy armchair detective sort of way that I adore. The characters got themselves into even more scrapes (almost being killed serveral times) than usual, and of course uncovered the truth about the unsolved Bethany Waites case!
Definitely a 5 star read - absolutely recommend!
