I’m ending the year with so many wonderful books!! This makes me personally happy but anyway—I digress.

Maybe I’ve never loved the color blue much—not as much as Nelson—but I have loved the blues far too much. I, too, am aiming to be a student of light instead of longing and to in some ways embrace my love of blues and find a new way to live in accord with them. This book is for people like that—who love their blues, who want to love their blues better and differently, who are OK with the scar.
