This is an excellent book by Presiding Bishop Curry, which he wrote last year. He is absolutely correct in his view that we need to have conversations with those with whom we disagree about the trajectory of our country. In light of the insurrection at the US Capitol though, this necessary task will prove very difficult, if not impossible, because it drastically deepened and widened the wedge that divides our country. I think most Americans will likely refuse to discuss anything with anyone who supports the rioters' objective, much less with the rioters themselves.
