A Night to Remember: The Classic Account of the Final Hours of the Titanic by Walter Lord

3.0

I so admire Walter Lord's tenacity to interview 60+ survivors of the Titanic and share their experiences with the world. What an important project. The sinking has fascinated people for 102 years, myself included, and this book goes beyond the popular movie, of which I am a huge fan. After reading I was pleasantly surprised to find that James Cameron incorporated several witness accounts into his story. I only give this three stars because it isn't meaty or anything like that. The writing isn't overwhelmingly amazing, but it is a great historical account of an incredible world event.
