The titular story in this book was my favourite by leaps and miles. Whilst it’s format was by no means unique, it’s writing was really exceptional with its vivid and grotesque imagery.
However that’s about where my enjoyment for this book ends. The other two stories, more so the second one, were bland and poorly paced.
That being said, I breezed through this book in maybe 4 hours so I don’t hold any grudges/feel like I’ve wasted time with this book.
