The Space Between by Sarah Ready

5/5 Stars!!!!
Thank you so much for this amazing and beautiful ARC!!
I literally just finished this book and jumped out of bed to write this review. Not even five minutes ago, and im not exaggerating. This...this book is probably the most powerful book I have read all year. I feel like i have an entirely new out look on life, and hope burning in my chest- this book was beautiful inside and out.
(I feel so bad it took me so long to read, but as one of the themes in this book stated– things happen for a reason, I was meant to read this book now and not when i originally received the ARC, stick with me i promise it will make sense!!)
A second chance romance, a book of loss, grief, growth...of life. I mean i legit am at a loss of how to even sit and write this review, besides telling you to go get this book, a box of tissues, and an emotional support snack. I'm not even going to give a mini synopsis, just go get it and trust me. Reid, Andi, and Jace will forever have my heart completely.
This book showcased many different topics, such as materialism can only do so much in your life if love is not present, finding yourself, redemption, realizing that there are different types of love in the world, and the fact that we can and do have multiple different connections with people even if we don't quite know the reasoning behind them, and even how love and trust really are the answer to many problems or misunderstandings. That the universe does have a plan, and that although the road to the finish line may not be linear (and usually is not in any way shape or form) that we have to be patient and allow life to flow.
This book sucked me in the best way possible. For all my anime watchers out there, have you ever watched an anime where the animators out did themselves? Where the animation was so pretty, so filled with life that it almost glowed off the screen?? (some examples of this to me would be Violet Evergarden, Bubble, any studio Ghibli film, Fruits Basket, etc.) The anime usually has at least one scene of a beautiful field and the sunlight shining just right– thats how this book read to me. The vibrant verbiage and descriptions, its almost like love and hope poured out of this book in waves and wrapped itself around me as i was reading it.
I LOVED how this read. I LOVED how this flowed. I have no critiques if I'm being honest. I am at a loss of words in the best way possible.
I just.....if you haven't put this book on your TBR yet, please do. And read it when it calls to you, when you are ready, when you really feel it. Or dive into this. You won't regret it besides the fact that your eyes will definitely sweat. Sarah Ready out did herself, and I know I'm about two months late. Yet this was beautiful.
TLDR; go get the book. Go get your tissues. Change your life LOLOLOL.
