Well deserved of the Pulitzer. As someone whose only into the first 6 weeks of her cancer diagnosis I found this at times quite upsetting and frightening to read. Persisted through and glad I did because turning to works of art like this are sometimes the only way to feel seen and to soothe the immense pain of everything.
