The Next Pandemic: On the Front Lines Against Humankind's Gravest Dangers by Ali S. Khan

4.0

Part memoir part information about the spread of diseases, it's not exactly what I was expecting, with a lot of gory details about the nature of disease, disease control and prevention, and the politics involved. Very informative and entertaining. Listened to it on audible, and found the narrator/production to be only okay. His voice would get much louder at some points and then get quiet again, and there seemed to be noticeable breaks in the audio itself.
Also I was reminded of why I cannot be a medical professional in any capacity.
