Where to start with this book! It is a wonderfully strange and winding story and Neil Gaiman’s writing is exquisite. His descriptions are vivid and his storyline is completely out there...but it works! I could read this book multiple times and take away different details, too much going on to really absorb it all in one read. I don’t know much about mythology or gods from other cultures, and used Wikipedia more than once :) anxious to see the STARZ TV show adaptation now! PS, my favorite god in this book was the Buffalo, god of the land.
