A Million Junes by Emily Henry

5.0

This book blew my breath away. I did not expect to love it as much as I did. It’s a great story of love and grief.

I really liked the main character, Junior. I do wish we could have learned a little more about her outside of her family. Like what her interests were and such, but I definitely get why that wasn’t a top priority for the author.

The magic realism in this book was wonderful. I think my favorite was the coywolves. Also, what is it about cherries that scream magic realism to people? I think this is the 3rd book I’ve read that has interwoven cherries and magic realism. Very interesting.

Anyway, I really liked this book and if you like magic realism and forbidden love, then you’d probably like this book too!
