Characters are too one dimensional, no emotional impact or depth given to any character. After reading 2/6 stories it has exact same plot/vibe with different foods. 

I think I would prefer this story in an anime/manga/live action format rather than novel as I will be able to see the food. I'm not very familiar with Japanese food so reading the descriptions did nothing for me.
