Travels with Herodotus by Ryszard Kapuściński
3.0
[ Hardcover ]
I feel guilty for two things.
1. Rating anything by Kapuściński less than 5 stars.
2. For practically skipping over all of the talk (rambling?) of Herodotus. (Approximately 70 pages).
It says it in the name, but I didn’t know how unimpressed I would be with Herodotus, especially since he was so loved by Kapuściński, whom I greatly admire.
There are some good Kapuściński travel moments in here, but nothing like his other works.
