Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
4.0
Ok real rating: 3.8 stars
I picked this up for a book group, so I did have an obligation to finish this book, but at some points, it was kind of hard to read, especially since it was quite wordy. But based on the timeline this book spans, it does make some sense. Overall, the story wasn't terrible, but I preferred the characters and character development over the real story, to be honest.
It was especially interesting to "analyze" Miss Havisham/Estella and to see Pip grow up and mature and become who he was at the ending of the book.
