An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson
4.0
So delightful! I waited to read this despite really loving [b:Sorcery of Thorns|42201395|Sorcery of Thorns|Margaret Rogerson|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1541621322l/42201395._SY75_.jpg|61425757] because so many people said it was predictable and cliche. This had the opposite effect of turning me away, but I knew I was going to want to savor it. Well, I was in the need for exactly that kind of book. A book that was everything Fall, Fae, and falling in love, where I could wrap myself in the comfort of the familiarity and not have to be stressed that it was going to be subverted for the sake of art and get all grim dark. I was not disappointed. Rogerson is an excellent writer. Her characters have depth, her writing is the kind I want to lose myself in, and her stories are full of the exact sort of fantasy and magic I love.
