Awaken the Fifth Order by Allison Carr Waechter
5.0
The perfect conclusion to a complex story. The storyline kept consistent with the build of the previous books while producing new characters and relationships to love and twists to keep you intrigued. While it’s a bit of a slow start and rebuild with new community and characters the book quickly carries on. A happily ever after for a crew who fought hard for it and went through their own complex healing journeys.
Harlow truly represents the neurospicy from social interactions to mental processes. In neither a super power way or a pity party. Her continued body neutrality is everything.
Finn is a trauma child from start to finish. Yet despite this he maintains a genuine goodness and hope and rises above.
