The I-45 murders have been in the media for years, but I had no idea how little I actually knew about the cases until I read this book. There's a wealth of fascinating information about all aspects of the decades-long investigation(s), and, as is always the case with Casey's true crime books, Deliver Us is well-researched and thorough without becoming bogged down in extraneous details. The author's ability to connect with the victims' families, as well as, when possible, the perpetrators' families, allows the reader to empathize with their agony and root for them as they attempt to find peace throughout the most devastating of circumstances.
