This. Was. So. GOOD!

As I said in my previous post, I am a SUCKER for office romances! Idk what it is, maybe the illicitness of the situation, the power dynamic, I have no idea. But it is so HOT.

Wyn is thrust into the PA role for Derek (aka ‘Satan’ aka ‘The Dark Lord’) after his 6th PA that month (I think?) quits. He is every bit as awful and unmanageable as his nicknames make him out to be, but Wyn is not a quitter. He also finds himself attracted to said Dark Lord despite his many personality flaws.

Derek knows he’s a jerk, and he really doesn’t care. Initially he is trying to get Wyn to quit because he is attracted to him and has been closeted for a LONG time, but then finds himself acting out for attention. Once he gives into his desires in Hawaii on location for the wedding we see the apple really didn’t fall far from the tree for Miller, except Derek lets Wyn set his own prices and I found this terribly hilarious.

What was supposed to stay in Hawaii ends up overflowing to work because these two are just hot for each other (bc duh) and my goodness I would have sold my soul to be a fly on the wall in that office. Or a suspiciously placed window washer. Either one would be fine.

This was low angst which was great, high steam which was yummy, and full of humor which I loved. Seriously, I loved this book so much, I’m surprised I was able to articulate it into words. I can’t wait to buy a hard copy for my shelf!
