I really wanted to like this book, because of the trans representation, but sadly I was disappointed. The crime-plot is really boring and the main character is quite annoying.
Is bad representation better than no representation at all? In this case, I would say no. The fact that Leo is trans was emphasized too much, to the point that it is his only trait and the author reproduced many harmful ideas about trans people and being trans. Also it seems like the author tried to put every topic, that might trigger people into one single book.
So if you are looking for representation, this book is not it.
