Absolutely brilliant! Although it did take me FOREVER to finish, this was mostly my own fault for getting far too excited somewhere in the middle and reading ahead and spoiling myself. Idiotic, I know, but I just couldn't help myself and it's a bad habit that I picked up in my early years and even though I try really hard not to do it, sometimes it comes back to bite me! The depth to this story is amazing. The ambiguity of morals, the intricacies of plot and the character development is astounding, not to mention the captivating writing (it had me hooked from the prologue). THIS is what I consider high fantasy! And that last sentence...AH, the feels - so cryptic and teasing!
