I absolutely loved this. I have tried many times to read it but this time I was completely enthralled. This particular translation made the book accessible..I could see the humour, the intrepid adventures, the wonderful hospitality and all that that means...it was 100% perfect. The end...with no spoilers ...was traumatic in parts and in others also hilarious and a bit Pow! Bam! Thwack! Biff! Batman and Robin ish...in a good way. The book is tremendous.
I recommend this translation to anyone, like me, who has struggled before to digest the story.
