Ireland comes home from a week’s vacation to find a form letter from her work, telling her she’s fired. How do you get fired while on vacation? After a night of drinking, that is in fact what she plans on finding out, how? So she sends an email to the CEO of the company, laying in to him how unfair her termination is. Grant, the CEO replies..and the emails are quite funny.
Fast forward, Grant offers Ireland her job back and he finds something about her different. She is honest and outspoken, and he tends to like the fact that she will stand up to him. He’s not the only one who has a crush though. So does Ireland.

As Grant and Ireland get to know each other, there is something about Grant’s past, he keeps freezing up about. As a reader, we get the flashbacks so we know, but Ireland is unaware for a while what has happened to Grant in the past. (Tissue may be needed)

That’s all you get because you have to read it. Rollercoaster ride for this one. It’s funny with witty banter, steamy, and heartfelt. Great read about trying to love again and trying to move on from your past.
