Every time I read volume, I get so happy and nostalgic!

I feel like I say this every time I read a manga after seeing the anime but, I love the slight differences between them! Because it’s Saiyuki and I’ve watched the episodes SEVERAL times, it’s still interesting to see what the manga shows (or clears up in some cases)!

We got more scenes with Kougaiji and Dokugakuji, especially that desert fight! And Goku in his berserk form is so cool… I mean, bad and dangerous but still cool!

I also don’t know if it’s because I love everything about Saiyuki or because the illustrations of manga fascinate me, but WOW! I always try to appreciate how much work goes into each panel. Series like this leave me awestruck with their detail - particularly because it’s in black and white!

So yes, another volume of this wonderful story I’m hopelessly in love with has been read and of course I can’t wait to read the next one!
