i fear this series will never get anything higher than 2.5/3 stars from me.. it’s like the authors hate strong women? i understood for world building purposes that the twins needed to grow into themselves, but going into the fifth book and the twins are still ignorant and under the heirs thumbs is ridiculous. they’re these all powerful phoenixes and yet they get tossed around like ragdolls and “bow” to everyone when in reality all of solaria should be bowing at their feet? then adding in the multiple plot points constantly being added in only to be ignored? i’m pushing through for torydarius.

oh AND seth can bite fury ass cheeks because he’s so insufferable. i can’t imagine what happens later to make people love him so much.
