A beautiful little book. Yes, at times it was sort of schmaltzy, and a little predictable at times. But it was also beautiful. At first, I was unsure of the narrator switches, but actually I found them quite endearing and enlightening - it felt like each character had a slightly different perspective, and gave a little something different to think about.
It may not be anything particularly groundbreaking, and may not be a literary 5-star piece of work. But the way it made me feel warrants the 5 star rating.
