This series is highly addictive, and I flew through this fast-paced book. I chose to hybrid read this book (kindle & audiobook at the same time) and highly recommend other readers to do the same if you're trying to binge these books. It's helped me from burning myself out.

Ruthless Fae is a solid second book to the series, following The Awakening. Did I think it was as strong as The Awakening? No, but I think it's because the bullying becomes relentless and too much of a focal point of the story.

That being said, the forbidden romance and forced proximity between multiple characters is *chefs kiss* and it definitely helped to ease the pieces of the story I didn't love.

I am LOVING the way the Twisted Sisters are developing these characters and appreciating the different POVs. Also, GERADLINE IS MY GIRL. I don't care what happens in this series as long as my girl is protected at all costs.

Cannot wait to dive into book 3.
