I love Duffy's internal narrations, he is so witty and funny. I love the puns and "dad jokes", it is rare for a book to truly make me laugh while I am reading it. Highly recommend following along or even just getting the audiobook read by Gerard Doyle who has an excellent voice for bringing these Duffy stories to life. 

Just want to note that the ebook and paperback is a bit different; the ebook includes a musical score from La Boheme opera on chapter 2 but this has been removed in the paperback. It doesn't matter too much but it did throw me for a loop going from reading the ebook to seeing it missing in the paperback copy, especially since the sentence prior to it ends in a colon. I spoke with Blackstone publishing who confirmed this is expected.
