All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
5.0
I would recommend this book over any John Green novels anytime. It felt more genuine and personal than all of those others bestsellers YA novels about loss and teenage mental Health. I wanted a happy ending for Violet and Finch and, although I cried after his suicide, it felt like that was the logic thing to happen. Because Violet was his beacon of light, but the ostracism and the ignorance of his condition was too strong. And I don't think Jennifer Niven could have explained depression and bipolar disorder any better.
