The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne

Fantastically written!!! By no means an accurate account of the horrors of the life at a concentration camp - but it never claims to be! The dichotomy of the horrific setting to the naivety and immaturity of Bruno with the literary "lightness" (with the author's repetitions, puns, etc) makes this story a powerful book - particularly for teens/teens.
