Drew is headed to Hawaii on vacation. Who with, you ask? With her ex, Six. What she didn’t know, was it’s a family vacation, so if her ex wasn't bad enough, add his family to it. And when she gets to the airport, Six isn’t there. He's being held out of the country, in jail. Starting out with a bang.
Josh, Six’s brother is there, and he and Drew don’t exactly get along. But not for the reasons you may think. He has kind of had a thing for her and needs to stay far, far away. To make matters worse, his fling is there, invited by his mom, and now they are all headed to Hawaii for a week.
Despite the bickering between Josh and Drew, Josh is always looking out for her. Swoon. He follows her on her runs, saves her in the ocean, etc. Always there to protect her. But this is just the beginning. Josh and Drew both have complicated lives and neither know how to navigate whatever it is they feel.
This is a really good story..from beginning to end. Josh is so supportive and I really liked him. Obviously, a lot of people love these books and maybe I'm the only one that thinks this..but..what is up with the women letting people run all over them? Don’t get me wrong, I really liked the book. But Drew will tell certain people off, meanwhile her team runs slam over her. It’s crazy! End rant.
