I'm blown away by the amount of lore in this book. The author managed to create an interesting, original world (in which things are not overexplained and you have to try to understand between the lines) AND a good and solid romance. I'm deeply impressed by this feat.
I won't talk about the world-building, because I think it's better to experience it with the characters the first time.

The plot combined with the fascinating world kept me on my toes. I wanted to continue reading to have the opportunity to see other places.

Zo and Aron are two complex and very different MCs, but they simply fit. There's something that speaks to my heart when not only do the characters fall in in love, but they immediately become partners in crime. Zo and Aron are like this in the story: both trying to survive and becoming partners in doing so.

I really hope the author will continue writing in this world because there's a lot I still want to see.

I received a copy of this book from Gay Romance Reviews, and this is my honest review.
