The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger

5.0

This is by far the most human novel I read. The characters were well-rounded and beautiful. I just wanted to crawl into their world and observe, as sad as the ending was.

I usually judge books by how long I think about them after. The ending was terrific and unpredictable and a little unnerving. I've thought about it every day since I finished it.

It's also a wonderful musing on what it means to be alive. I love the philosophical conversations the characters have and really wish I could have more of these characters. Luckily, I read Niffenegger is going to do a sequel. I will be first in line for that book.

Do yourself a favor and read this. It's amazing.
