Raven's Gate by Anthony Horowitz
4.0
This book definitely took you on a roller coaster of adventure, mystery, and conspiracy. Once it set itself up, it took off and started on creepy story.
The book isn't very long and I definitely have a lot more questions than answers, but the lore and the mystery are enough to keep me engaged and wondering what will happen next. Some of the dialogue, visuals, and character designs added for some creepy images in my head. The action was also easy to follow and tense.
While I wasn't as invested in Matt as I should have been (I just don't think he's developed enough yet), but I have to say that Richard was my favourite and I want to see more of him in the future. The villains were quite over the top and made the book even more fun. I can't wait to see who replaces them in the next book!
