I had moderately high expectations for this book, and for the most part, it delivered! Wicked Serve was a fun, brother's teammate/rival college romance with heart, heat and depth. It was the first book in a while that drew me in and I haven't been o invested in a couple for a long time. I really appreciated the male vulnerability shown by Nik (without spoilers, do look at the TWs at the beginning) and how his vulnerability was written. I also liked the various friendships. I think it could've been cut a bit shorter and some spicy scenes weren't as necessary. Overall, though, this book was highly engaging, and I recommend it to all fans of sports romance.
