I rarely read a fantasy book and mostly because I found that I get lost into the descriptions and the world built that is a bit beyond my imagination and I can’t keep my attention on it for too long. Probably that’s why it took me so long to read this book as well.
That being said, I enjoyed it immensely.
The beautiful and heartbreaking story is full of creative ideas, twists and so many moments and scenes that made me stop and think about it so many times.
Death is definitely not the character that I was expecting and I was pleasantly surprised by his deep and true feelings.
As for Signa , she’s young and innocent but also forced to grow up quickly after her mother death and her other family members.
Was it predictable? No, it hasn’t been for me.
Will I read the next books in the series? Yes, definitely and I can’t wait for it.
