This was a short and sweet friends-to-lovers romance that I felt hit all the right buttons on the surface but left me wishing there was more underneath. I liked most of the banter, and I found some of the inner monologues funny (the other half I found repetitive and a bit much). Overall though, I liked the chemistry, the cast and the spice. This is the perfect read for a beach day.
