The Butcher by Jennifer Hillier
4.0
I love books set around where I live and this one was just that. This one is set in Seattle WA which is actually where I work so I had fun with the landmarks and location. This is a fun read because you know who the person committing the crimes is right from the start. It’s not a secret like you would normally think about in a thriller. However, the fun part comes in when we try to figure out the why. But that isn’t to say there aren’t any twists, because there are, and they are good! I loved how engaging this one was. It sucked me in right from the start and I didn’t want to put it down. I read this one in paperback and audio. So, I mixed a little of both and flew through the pages. The audio was well done and the narrator really brought the story to life.
If you’re looking for an engaging psychological thriller, then you need to check this one out.
Thank you @gallerybooks for my #gifted copy and thank you @simon.audio for the audio copy.
