Definitely not the best when it comes to comics, and plenty of unresolved storylines (hey, that’s not Kirby’s fault), but there’s a certain charm to it all. Jack Kirby’s excessive wordiness and seriousness and his bolded art and splash pages will always have a classic feel, even for books that came out decades after his start in the industry.
