This is one of those rare books that change some part of your life or routine. I was so inspired by Jonathan's and faith in Ziggy that I started listening to Bowie, then more older music and eventually getting into vinyl. I have this book to thank for my new Ziggy obsession. Aside from that, this book is one of a kind. Jonathan's development from thinking he is sick to acceptance is a heart-wrenching story filled with ups and downs. There is Native American representation as well which is so important to show. It tackled race, sexuality, and many other issues while still having a beautiful story. I would rate higher if I could.
