“She’s a live wire, and I am the idiot happy to see what happens when I pick up the loose end.”

Honestly this book was just a fun time! But OMG! Billie Billie Billie…YOU ARE AMAZING! If Billie were to come alive and I saw her walking on the street I would run and give her a big freaking hug. I LOVED meeting Violet Eaton and it was such a surprise meeting her in this. I feel so protected of her character because she is just so sweet. (I’m so EXCITED to read her book!)

“Two broken people, damaged by the ones meant to love them the most, finding solace in each other’s arms.”

To tell you the truth I never knew I could cry over a fictional horse but I did indeed CRY OVER A FICTIONAL HORSE! Vaughn was a likable mmc but his decisions 87% into the book causes me to get very heated but I’m glad after some very much needed time he came to his senses.

“Off to the races, honey.”

Even though Chestnut Springs will always have my heart, Gold Rush Ranch is closely behind it. (This was truly so good for a debut novel)
