I think was a case of "not for me". I really didn't care about all her past relationships and honestly didn't really care about Jake either.

Fairly predictable except for two moments: the first I hated, the second I actually loved.

Basically, I would have preferred this to be more of a romance, which obviously wasn't the purpose of the book. It basically cemented the fact that gen fic isn't my genre.
