Popsugar Reading challenge #21: A book centered on video games

Aanyways, this cute lil read was a part of my friend and I's popsugar reading challenge! This was...a read. Nicely put lol. This was a pretty average book– hence the rating – but that was about it. Had the book not gotten better after the wedding scene....this would've been rated a bit lower. Mostly because it was so. SLOW. And i mean SLOW. But not slow as in slow burn, just slow. There was too many unnecessary details, and just was a bit too in depth. It felt like you could get the jist just reading each chapter half way and then on to the next lol.

However, the FMC has my heart FORREAL. She was ready to bop everybody upside the head and i respect that so much.

I got a lil bit of the ick from this book though just because they were 48 and 50, but very....juvenile? It was a bit off putting but i did enjoy all the references since i understood-ish them. LOL.

Overall this was a cute lil read and they really had chemistry together!
