this wasn't that great but it wasn't bad either so i'm giving it a solid 3 stars. it was quite interesting at the beginning, and then the middle bit got pretty boring, nothing was really happening, but then near the end it started to pick up again. the characters are fun, i like kenji bc he's classic comedic relief lmao. also, i was rlly surprised that adam was the love interest in this book bc i know that everyone is obsessed with warner and juliette so i guess that only comes in the later books. i'm really looking forward to seeing how that develops bc i literally have no idea how or why they would end up together at this point. warner is mean and annoying and so far has no redeeming qualities, he is a murderer, and juliette hates him so much. but then again i am obsessed with enemies to lovers so i'm just waiting for his redemption :) anyways it was a good book, i'm definitely going to read the next book in the series at some point but idk when bc i don't have the book rn and i have too many others to read lols.
