The Third Gilmore Girl by Kelly Bishop
I thought this would be an interesting read even though I didn’t know much about Kelly beyond Gilmore Girls and a vague idea that she has a background in theater. I am blown away. I love Emily Gilmore and Kelly isn’t her, but you see how she gave so much to the character with her drive, humor, and fire.
I listened to the audiobook that she narrated and it adds such a personal layer - I SO recommend it.
As much as the Gilmore Girl bits are fun, since that’s where I know and love her from, her background and stories from growing up dancing, all of the things she went though to get her career going, and the personal struggles in her relationships were my favorite parts.
I really don’t read many memoirs, but this touched me. If you like GG or have any interest in broadway, I definitely recommend it.
