4.5

A treatise on grief, done in the most grotesque fashion. I was absolutely disgusted by Bazterrica's descriptions -- feelings of anger and sadness erupted inside of me at each injustice. It is astonishing how sensual the text is. Even when describing clinical practices, such as the meat processing plant and its depraved procedures, Bazterrica infuses rundowns of these practices with such vitality and "fleshyness." Gross, gross, gross but love.
