Becoming Bulletproof: Protect Yourself, Read People, Influence Situations, and Live Fearlessly by Evy Poumpouras
5.0
I am not a person to read self-help books or even listen to podcasts of people talking about things in general, but as of now, I am a changed person.
This woman is amazing and I fell in love with her while stumbling on one of the videos on Woman of Impact. I was very skeptical to read a Self-help book, none so far were my taste really and I thought all of them are the same, kind of useless and nothing interesting in them. But, in my opinion, this is not the normal self-help book per se. It is a totally different kind of book, some memoir part (her experiences in the Secret Service, the 9/11, etc) some tips and tricks, easy to read and fast to get through. Maybe I am being biased but in the end, I liked this book, and it was useful in a sense, I would even go as far as to say it made me rethink my next step in life and my job.
I guess it doesn't matter what other people say about a book, as long as it helped you think or rethink some aspects of your life, it did its job.
