I wasn't expecting such an emotional read when I went into this book. I knew that Brynn was going through the gigs and that there was probably going to be some paranormal stuff happening, but I wasn't prepared for the grief, longing, and sadness of this book either.
I liked how the author played on veils between worlds and how people with Alzheimers sometimes know things that they shouldn't. I was suspicious of Dominic through most of the story. He seemed too "perfect," and I didn't guess the twist at the end with him. I was pleasantly surprised.
