This is an absolutely fabulous book! Although it is designed for children, I learnt a lot of facts about sharks that I didn’t already know (for instance that Swell Sharks are called Swell Sharks because they swell up to make themselves look bigger to predators and that hammerheads can sense the earth’s magnetic fields) and it explained everything really clearly. It also didn’t place an emphasis on the ‘use’ of sharks - in fact it did the opposite and told readers to actively stop using products containing sharks!! Everything was really beautifully illustrated to go alongside the descriptions, so it was a really interesting and enjoyable read all round. I would 100% recommend this to anyone!!
