This was a re-read for me and was intense and interesting to read again. There were some aspects that I didn’t recall from the first reading. The story is difficult at times, due to the shockingly realistic descriptions of some really tragic events. Overall, this is a fast-paced thriller that just was right for me right now. I was becoming bogged down with denser books that were too much work for the time. This one is a page turner and a great reboot for reading. I’ve tried to do some re-reads this year and have enjoyed it.
Definitely heavy on the trigger warnings.
