The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods

4.0

I chose this as an audiobook on Spotify premium to listen to while driving. I picked it up completely haphazardly and by chance. When I first started listening to it, I was confused because of how many main characters there were but, I was bored and needed something. I kept listening and I’m so glad I did! I love that Henry, Martha, and Opaline all had different voices in the audiobook version. I really enjoyed this book. I felt like there were some loose ends that I didn’t quite understand so I gave it 4 stars. That could be because I listened to it though. I didn’t love the way things ended with Ms. Bodine but I loved her as a character overall. Henry was adorable and funny. Martha and Opaline were real. I appreciated their strength as women. This was a good read!
