The Right Move by Liz Tomforde
5.0
I did not think that Stevie and Zanders could be topped, I thought they were the end all be all. HOWEVER, Indy and Ryan really just became the IT couple for me. WOW, I loved every second of this book.
Ryan, sweet sweet Ryan was such a treat to read about. Watching him battle with his past insecurities was heartbreaking but also watching him let Indy into his life was the best. The things he said to Indy would have had me folding in seconds. I love that although he was adamant about it being a fictional relationship I think he was all in from the beginning. His daily acts of service, where he showed Indy how much he cared for her, made my heart so happy. He truly is just a gem of a man.
Indy, was just everything to me and more. My heart broke for her with her Ex and her "friends" because she deserved so much more and Ryan, Stevie, Zanders, Rio, etc really showed her the importance of true friends and I loved that. Her love of romance reading was so relatable and I loved that by the end she took what she needed and didn't back down even from what she knew she deserved. She truly was a bright light in this book and I loved everything about her. Also, her daily updates to Stevie were too fucking funny lmao, poor Vee.
I just loved everything about this book. I felt all the emotions in these 500 pages and it would've been hard for me not to fall for the characters and the story. The heartbreak I also felt during this was REAL. The epilogue was everything, getting to see everyone four years down the road just had my heart melting in the best way. The cameos of Stevie and Zanders were also perfection, I loved their little moments throughout the book and the relationship that Zanders and Ryan have is my favorite ever.
I would also just like to state that I would literally put my life on the line for Rio, I love that man so much lmao.
Excited for Windy City #3 with Kai!! Love this universe and am happy I got to be back in it for book 2!
